Senang dan Sedap............


Kat sini cuaca tengah panas sekarang..............summer gitu
Kulit jadi super dry and gatal...

Doc bagitau......
- Sapu lotion banyak2......
- Minum ayaq banyak2
- mandi banyak2 (hehe...read: kerap) and guna sabun bersesuaian

TQ doc, dok gigih buat ni....

Mood membaking datang lagi...............

Selepas 3 hari carrot yang dah diparut, terdampar dalam peti ais.....

Makanya kena rajinkan diri juga......

Tak mengecewakan...........senang and sedap....




Makcik bab plating memang fail

Carrot Cake
(source: google, long ago so dah lupa link)

Ingredients:
A:
2 cups  grated carrot (about 2 or 3 carrots)
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar (i used 11/2 cup)
2 teasp soda bicarb
1 teasp b/powder
1/2 teasp salt
1/2 teasp cinnamon powder

B: 4 eggs

C:
3/4 cup oil
1 1/4 teasp vanila
8 oz crushed pineapple with juice
3/4 cup chopped pecan


Method:

Mix A in a bowl.
Add B followed by C, mix well
Put in baking pan and bake @180*C for 30-40 mins (temp and baking time may vary with oven) or until cake tester comes out clean.
Spread cream cheese frosting.

Frosting: Beat till smooth
8 oz cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teasp vanila
116 gm butter

or
300 gm cream cheese
100 gm icing sugar
zest from 1 large orange + more shreded skin to decorate

Makcik???
For this one, i used snow cheese punya topping :)

    Hello Makcik, you sana panas, kita pulak dalam deep freeze....past dua minggu temp jatuh bawa -26'c. Our apartment windows all iced up. And day before it snowed 12 hours, heavy snow, now outside semua puteh. Sebelum keluar rumah terok pakai jackets, scarfs, winter boots, thermal gloves.
    Motor car saya macham rumah ice Eskimos.
    Kita lagi at least 3 months sebelum boleh tengok miniskirts, ha ha.

    Love your this carrot cake, Makcik. Tengok tu sedap, 3 keping with iced coffee boleh juga, ha ha.
    I guess you a lady cannot duduk diam, mesti buat something. Good for you, Makcik.
    Makcik, saya nak tanya sikit...apa nama tu siput yang potong dia punya belakang, masak curry ke lemak, then isap siput tu from back door?

    You ada buat or makan tu siput? If ever you masak ni, hantar saya telegram, saya suka makan ni, I think the last time I had it was at a Malay friend's house in Kedah.

      Siput itu kita panggil 'siput sedut'. Sedap buat masak lemak cili api dengan batang keladi. :)

      Yes my kawan suda jawab tu.
      Most call it siput sedut, as you have tu "suut..suuttt." to get flesh out.

      Sini kita orang call belitung...or balitong...sama juga...ikut 'slang'.
      i don't eat belitung, hence don't cook, only once i think....many many years ago..

    Meh poslaju sikit kek tu kat sini. :)

    Sekarang memang sangat panas, nak pandang ke langit pun silau mata. Tapi tetap pandang juga sebab nak rakam gambar awan yang cantik... :)

      Kulit pun rasa tebal kan acik....makcik dok letak moisturiser banyak2 ni....kurang sikit gatal..tapi masih tak hilang la...

      Lepas ni boleh buat dah la kek ni...tak perlu mixer pon..

      Aiyahhhh, One doctor's visit (itu operation lah) plus two or three follow up is biasa la....
      Doctor mau check lah if those nerves are 'centerly-aligned' hahahaha, joking lah Lee, pulling your leg....relax, keep moving in that hutan, sikit lagi....in 8 weeks lah, you will come out and jumpa highway...ada kereta sport merah lalu...leng-lui wear red lipstick drive.....you can hitch a ride :)
