Tortilla-Enchilada-Lasagne



Enchilada that looks more like lasagne

Gamaknya bila orang gossip pun beginilah ye.

LG kata "a", dapat kat DLL dia kata "a+1" and bila McK pulak dengar cerita dah jadi "a+1+y"



Tengok sajalah kelainan antara di sana, situ (dia ambik dari sana), dan sini (hasil terlihat kat situ).....dari enchilada yang di 'modified' sikit, sampai kat makcik tortila tu dah jadi serupa lasagne pulak

hehe, ni semua pasal nak habiskan filling yang ada...tortila wraps pun ada banyak tu saja.

Ahhh, apa ada pada rupa...kan? :)) apa lagi nak kata kan che jah?

I just make slight changes to suit what i have in the kitchen & kasi nama lain;

The recipe: Biscuit Layer Cheesecake

400 gm marie biscuit, coffee flavour (any other biscuit is fine, i think)
500 gm cream cheese
250 ml whipped cream (#)
about 100 ml milk
1/2 cup icing sugar
1Tbsp gelatin (melt in abt 2 Tbsp water)- How to melt
1 Tbsp Lemon juice

- Cream sugar with cream cheese until smooth.
- Add whip cream
- pour lemon juice
- Add gelatine and mix well
- Line baking pan with plastic wrap
- Just dip biscuit in milk (not soak) & arrange in pan.
- Scoop cream cheese mixture and spreadjust to cover the biscuit.
- Repeat process until finish/ your desired thickness.
- Sprinkle crushed biscuits on top and chill for abt 6 hrs.

I used non-diary whip cream, sold in packet of 1 liter, whipped all of it, scooped into abt 5 containers (~200 ml each) and freeze until time to use.
To use, just remove from freezer and chill it few hours before use
This cream is slightly sweetened.

I haven't tried this anywhere before, therefore m not sure of the 'actual' taste it should be.

This is my version, ada version lain? Pls share, boleh kita kongsi resepi, kot kot la nanti nak buka restoran kannnn.......after all, sharing is caring maaaa.....


Avocado; yang masak/tua (soft when pressed slightly)
isinya lembut, tawar tapi lemak,






The recipe:

1/2 avocado, use spoon to scoop out the flesh
200 ml low fat milk
2 Tbsp condensed milk(*)
1 Tbsp honey (*)
Abt 2 handful Ice cubes

Blend all of the above, pour in glass and top with Hershey's Chocolate Syrup

Own preference to put either honey, condensed milk, sugar or sugar syrup

Smooth sailing........



Life for them.


Makan kita bagi, berak kita cuci.....

Geram jugak kadang kadang tengok. Siang depa buat taik mata.

Initially i thought they were depressed so i took them up to my room just to monitor...

Bila tiba malam.....mak aih punya sembang sampai kita pulak tak boleh lelap!

Dulu ada letak 'terowong' buluh ni, but they peed inside sampai berbau and since the smell seeped into the bamboo, their body pun started to smell.





Jadi i removed the buluh and replaced with a small bakul......

I also introduced this yoghurt drops to them. They seem to like it. I put 2 pcs (one each) in a container but the more prominent one (i don't know which one) will take both and not let the other one have it.



It is recommended that they consume a max of two drops per day,

I have no choice but to give them one each, personally...mengada kan?

LGK-PEN-LGK

When my son called to say he's coming home, he also listed his endless 'want-to-eat'.

Pizza was among them.



Pizza Base

A
500 gm bread flour
2 Tbsp milk powder
2 Tbsp sugar
3 tsp dried yeast (equiv to one 11gm packet)
Dash of pepper (optional)
Mix herbs (optional)

B
1/3 cup olive oil
250 ml water

C
1/2 tsp saltBold

Mix A in mixing bowl. Turn on mixer, add in olive oil.
Pour in half the water, and little by little after that (depend on temp/flour but i used all the water)
Add in salt and continue to knead.
You can tell, you have knead enough when the dough doesn't stick to the sides of bowl and also it is smooth in texture, soft to touch.
Cover bowl with wet towel/cling film and leave to rise for 1 hr, it will double in size


After the hour, punch the dough to remove air.
Divide the dough into 6 portion, flatten using your hand.
Let it rest for abt 30 mins.
Bake @ 170 *C for 10 minutes.(*)

I half bake so i can keep the base. Sometimes, i will put the filling and freeze it for use later.

Habis la Labu.......




Ada sikit lagi labu, lebihan buat sayur hari tu.....

Nak buat pengat, sikitlah sangat....jadi kita apomkan dia :))

Apom/Apam Labu
Sumber: Hanamemories

A/
3 Tsp tepung gandum
1 tsp gula
2 tsp yeast
3 Tsp air suam
Note: Tsp = tablespoon@sudubesar
tsp = teaspoon @ sudukecil

B/
240 gm labu, kupas & kukus/rebus
120 gm gula ( actual 150 gm)
1 biji telur
150 ml santan

C/
200 gm tepung gandum
1 tsp baking powder

Campurkan A dan ketepikan selama 5-10 minit
Kisar halus bahan B
Satukan C di dalam mangkuk sesuai
Tuang bahan B ke C, kacau rata.
Masukkan A, sebatikan.
Perap selama 1 jam

Jerang air dalam kukusan.
Sendukkan adunan ke dalam acuan (makcik guna acuan lompang)
Kukus selama ~ 15 minit

Concoction


There must be times when somebody come to tell you that this particular supplement works wonders and that to you the price is 'up to the ceiling'.

We do need certain supplement to complement what is lacking in our body but then again, everyone has different requirement.

datuk nenek kita dulu pun mesti ada penyakit macam kita kan? But they found remedy in what was around them.

Jadi hari ni makcik pun nak share something more natural that we can do to maintain certain 'chemical' imbalance in our body.

Moga dapat membantu, wallahualam

Source: a friend got it from her reflexologist, another friend had an uncle taking this (it works for him) and a couple i know has been taking this everyday for few years.

Me? I just started.






1 cup ginger, chopped
1 cup garlic, chopped
1 cup lime juice ( i used lemon in my first potion)

1 cup honey (i used manuka)

Blend ginger and garlic until fine(*). Pour in a clean pot
Add apple cider and lime juice.
Cook until it boils, stirring all the time.
Then simmer for about 1 hour or so until the mixture thicken - paste-like.
Turn off fire and let it cool down.
Add honey, mix well and transfer to clean, air tight container.
Refrigerate.

Consume abt 1 teaspoon everyday.


Cooked, it looks like puree



Note: alternatively, you can also make this into a marinade(lamb), adding paprika, salt, pepper etc, or even make salad dressing, by mixing it with little water/olive oil to dilute.

Inconsistent sebab:- patutnya habiskan tapi tak habis...kira tak konsisten la.

Apadia yang tak konsisten tu???

Cerita dulu;

Hari yang sepatutnya makcik & geng merayap cari breakfast tidak kesampaian sebab masing masing ada hal, jadi makcik kat rumah, garu garu kepala, buka buku......terkena 'racun', godek godek gobok buruk, jumpa yang dicari....maka terhasil lah.......

I think Chot sakit, his urine stinks!

Bawak dia pergi vet & confirmed.....his genital got infected.

Dapat antibiotik untuk seminggu plus some bio-gel, bla bla

Kena RM102.00! ....beruk pun hampir jatuh pokok kerana terkejut.

Sempat lagi main nyorok nyorok

Bulu kena sikat selalu, otherwise it clumps

Doktor kata: "Bye Chot, see you in six days....."

Chot: "........ada aku kisah?...." :))

Selamat Aidil Adha.....Try this snack




Tip of the week:

NEVER do last minute shopping.................

I have not done last minute shopping for a long time. Tapi semalam (kelmarin) kena juga pergi market sebab tak sempat pergi sebelum tu.

Ramainya orang........

And again, I don't fancy last minute shopping.............a lot of wasted time.............waiting

Meh share something i did yesterday.

Ate this during a visit to a friend's house.


Seaweed between kulit pohpia

I don't have a name for it.

Bahan:

Kulit pohpia
Telur putih
Seaweed (Nori sheets)

Lay pohpia skin on a tray
Brush with egg white (this act as glue)
Lay seaweed and top with another pohpia skin
Cut (i use scissors) accordingly.

Deep fry until golden brown. Strain excess oil. Leave to cool.
Keep in airtight container.
